The Mazda Miata has a loyal following of car enthusiasts that have gone to great lengths to express their love for the two-seater roadster, so when one fan recently made the decision to ask his girlfriend to marry him, he found it was only fitting to incorporate his Miata, along with several others, into the proposal. Thinking outside the box, the groom-to-be gathered all of the cars together and made a creative statement that set a new bar for innovative marriage proposals. Miata fans all across the country were impressed with his act, but in the end, there was only one opinion that truly mattered: his girlfriend's.
In order to make his proposal a reality, the Miata fan needed a total of 35 Miatas to participate in the grand gesture. He was able to get 31 owners on board for the task after asking fellow members on Miata.net's forum to join him, but he was down four cars, leaving him short of his overall goal. However, in a turn of events, more than 40 cars came together to help him make his proposal happen on the big day. They each lined up perfectly to spell out "Marry Me?" and the groom-to-be used a flying drone to get a shot of the image, which was presented to his girlfriend. Originally under the impression her boyfriend was taking his drone out to shoot real estate, she was surprised by the act, but ended up saying yes, touching the hearts of Miata fans everywhere.
