Have you ever been minding your own business while driving down the road, when suddenly, a random sinkhole opens up in the ground in front of you? Our guess is probably not, but that's exactly what happened recently to a few unlucky Russian motorists during their daily commute. The complete incident was caught on camera and you can literally see the sinkhole begin to slowly develop over the course of two minutes. Thankfully, no one was hurt during the event, and unlike the Corvettes that were swallowed by the National Corvette Museum's sinkhole, no cars were injured either.
In the complete video capturing the sinkhole progression, you can see cars begin to maneuver their way around what looks like a slight indentation in the road. By the time the one-minute mark hits, you can then see more cracks developing around the sloped in pavement until, eventually, the entire ground gives way, revealing a sizeable sinkhole. One car happens to be right near the edge of the sinkhole when it caves in and the driver quickly starts to pull the car to the side of the road to avoid being consumed by the earth down under. You can watch the entire video below to see the event unfold for yourself - we guarantee it's worth the watch!
