The numbers are in for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Light Duty Fuel Economy report, and we're happy to reveal that once again Mazda has been named the most fuel-efficient auto manufacturer in the U.S.! In the study, it was found that Mazda had the lowest adjusted carbon dioxide emissions and highest fleet-wide adjusted fuel economy performance of 28.1 mpg. These results were made possible by the company's SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY, which is utilized to outfit each car with lightweight components, powerful engines with high-compression ratios and effective fuel-efficient transmissions. These mechanisms then work together to deliver outstanding performance, while also boosting fuel economy throughout the lineup.
