The automaker recently donated a 2016 MX-5 Miata Launch Edition to the hospital through the Mazda Drive for Good charitable program, which helped bring in the funds. "We set aside one of the MX-5 Launch Editions for a special occasion such as this and when the opportunity arose to be part of the St. Jude Hope in the Hamptons event, we felt this was the perfect way to support a great charity partner," said Russell Wager, vice president of marketing, MNAO.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is a pediatric research and treatment facility whose mission is to help children suffering from cancer and other life-threatening diseases. As a non-profit medical corporation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital does not charge families for any treatment their child receives while in their care, allowing families to focus on what truly matters.
