New federal reports name Mazda as the most fuel-efficient auto manufacturer in the country. Despite the lack of hybrid and electric vehicles in the brand's lineup, Mazda continues to lead the way when it comes to developing models that offer exceptional fuel economy. While other big brands offer an array of EV and hybrid cars that aim to be eco-friendly, Mazda has configured their gas models to deliver low EPA ratings, while staying true to their origins.

Over the past few years, Mazda's fuel economy has continued to improve by 1.3 mpg each year. In 2014 alone, the brand adjusted fuel economy was 29.4 miles per gallon, which put it ahead of every other automaker in the industry. Following the final calculations for 2015, Mazda is expected to average 30.1 mpg for the year, which will mark the first time an automaker has surpassed the 30-mpg mark. Aside from this milestone, Mazda is also on track to average 308 grams per mile in CO2 emissions for 2015, which is six grams greater than their 2014 average.

Offering a splendid lineup of fuel-efficient cars and SUVs, Mazda is one of the most respected automakers in the business. If you want to take a look at the brand's current 2016 lineup, visit us at Reliable Mazda today.
