As a part of this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, Mazda debuted their all-new KOERU crossover concept. A possible indication of future models to come, the five-passenger concept embodies the brand's KODO-Soul Motion design language and takes inspiration from Japanese aesthetic.
The sleek and stylish Mazda KOERU concept is a beautiful piece of machinery. Its name means "go beyond" or "exceed" in Japanese and represents Mazda's constant push to develop innovative vehicles. Designed to evoke the power and vitality of a wild animal, the crossover features piercing LED guiding rings, a Signature Wing, modulating body, tight canopy, large wheels, and highlights on the front and rear fenders that stretch toward the wheels, strengthening its dominating presence.
Outfitted with Mazda's full suite of SKYACTIV technologies, the KOERU offers unparalleled performance. By optimizing the airflow over the upper body and giving the crossover a sleek body shape, engineers were able to ensure the concept delivers first-class aerodynamic performance. Additionally, the KOERU utilizes Mazda's NVH technology, which reduces noise and vibration, improving the driving experience for all occupants.
As of now, there's no word as to what will come of the KOERU crossover concept, but there is always a chance a production model could be around the corner.
