The long-awaited 2016 Mazda CX-9 has finally seen the light of day and we now have it in stock at Reliable Mazda. Redesigned from the ground up, the all-new SUV delivers a premium experience thanks to an array of fresh features and mechanical components designed to excite today’s buyers.
For the latest model year, the Mazda CX-9 receives a new turbocharged SKYACTIV-G 2.5T engine. Delivering up to 250 horsepower and 310 lb.-ft. of torque, the powerplant is paired with a SKYACTIVE-DRIVE six-speed automatic transmission that supports its offerings. Additionally, the Mazda CX-9’s engine is more responsive than ever before and is able to produce an EPA-estimated 22 mpg city, 28 mpg highway and 25 mpg combined when featured on the front-wheel-drive model. Aside from the FWD option, buyers can also choose to go with the i-ACTIVE all-wheel-drive Mazda CX-9 model, which is ideal for navigating the roads in snowy weather conditions.
On the features side of the things, the 2016 Mazda CX-9 Sport comes standard with 18-inch wheels, a rearview camera, MAZDA CONNECT™ infotainment, trailer stability assist and an electronic parking brake. Those who choose to upgrade to the Touring model will also get Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Keyless Entry System, a power liftgate and power front seats, to name a few. However, the real jaw dropper is the Grand Touring model, which features Active Driving Display, a system that projects instrument and navigation info on the windshield. This new technology is a first for Mazda and is guaranteed to be a hot topic among new car buyers.
