Starting on the outside, this sporty compact sedan features a reshaped grille and headlights that nicely sharpen the car’s aggressive new look. Available as a hatchback or four-door sedan, the Mazda3 makes driving fun again. Inside, the updates are made very apparent with its new steering wheel that mimics the one found in the new Mazda CX-9 crossover. There is also a new electric parking brake that adds more center-console storage space. Other notable enhancements include an optional heads-up display that is now full color rather than monochromatic. Purchasers of the new vehicle can also opt for an available heated steering wheel that warms up in a hurry.
Mazda’s G-Vectoring control technology can also be found in the Mazda3. This new steering system works to lower torque when approaching a corner, raising the responsiveness of the steering rack for better handling and control. Revised dampers and sound insulation have also been added to the car for a quitter overall ride.
