Mark your calendars! From 2-4:30 p.m. on Sat. March 18, 2017, you’ll have the opportunity to satisfy your sweet tooth in a big way by taking part in the Sip & Savor event at the O’Reilly Family Event Center in Springfield.
Featuring a variety of tasty treats from some of the best culinary minds in the Ozarks, this delicious affair is sure to activate your taste buds. Featuring everything from dainty cookies and handmade chocolates to Chinese cuisine and frosty brews, this one-of-a-kind gathering is sure to please even the pickiest of palettes. Your ticket will fetch you samples of all of these goodies, plus you’ll also get to vote for your favorites.
Proceeds will help benefit two local nonprofits: Harmony House and Rare Breed Youth Services. Harmony House is one of the biggest shelters for victims of domestic abuse in Missouri. The organization offers outreach support, advocacy and prevention education services. Rare Breed Youth Services provides help to homeless and at-risk youths in our area through housing and outreach programs.
