Fuel-Efficient 2022 Mazda Models

The 2022 Mazda fuel-efficient models

The 2022 Mazda models are praised for the efficiency of their use and production. The new models are more fuel-efficient than their predecessors. They also incorporate more environmentally-friendly components and continue lines popular in their previous models. Fuel-efficient models are just the beginning, though; Mazda plans to release even more eco-friendly cars in upcoming years.

1. The 2022 Mazda 6

The 2022 Mazda 6 is the largest car model in Mazda's lineup, with a seating capacity of five passengers. Its fuel consumption is 30 mpg on the highway, and its engine is a naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 187 horsepower. That makes the car's horsepower equivalent to the Toyota Camry's hybrid. The model comes fitted with a 6-speed automatic transmission and features full Bluetooth connectivity. The exterior of the Mazda 6 is more modern than past models. The body of this car is built from plastic and aluminum, both of which are eco-friendly in their production and use. The plastic used in the production is petroleum-based; the aluminum used to construct the body is environmentally friendly.

2. Mazda CX-30

The Mazda CX-30 is a compact crossover SUV with a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine and comes in two trims: Sport and iGrand. Both trims are built from aluminum and use eco-friendly plastics, though the iGrand also uses recycled materials for its construction. Its engine is Mazda's Skyactiv technology, which reduces the fuel used by 10%. It also produces 184 horsepower. Both trims have seating capacities of five passengers; however, only the Sport trim has an available third row. It has great technology features, including the Mazda's new Eyesight system and a HUD interface. The Eyesight system uses digital cameras to note traffic conditions and display this information on the car's dashboard. The dashboard also uses LED lighting, which is not often found in cars because it is expensive.

3. Mazda 3

The Mazda3 is a compact four-door sedan made of lightweight plastic materials, and its engine is a G1.8-liter, direct-injection engine producing 138 horsepower. The EPA rated its fuel efficiency at 29 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway, although it does not use gasoline and aluminum, similar to other models on this list. It also has great technology features, such as a HUD interface and an Eyesight system.

Generally, our team at Reliable Mazda is excited about these 2022 Mazda models.
