On February 28, Prime Video announced the upcoming premiere of First to the Finish, a new docuseries debuting on March 25. Created in collaboration with Boardwalk Pictures and GroupM Motion Entertainment, the series offers an inside look at the thrilling world of the Mazda MX-5 Cup Championship—a competitive racing series that showcases rising young drivers.
First to the Finish highlights the challenges of breaking into the racing world through the perspectives of drivers Heather Hadley and Sally Mott, along with BSI Racing team owner Shea Holbrook. Heather Hadley made waves in motorsports during her rookie season in the 2023 Mazda MX-5 Cup Championship. She’s currently balancing her career as a professional racecar driver while finishing her senior year at UNC-Charlotte. Sally Mott, a rookie driver from Crawford, TX, has dedicated herself fully to racing after graduating high school. Meanwhile, Shea Holbrook serves as the driving force behind the BSI Racing team. A former professional racer with six championship wins, she has now transitioned into team ownership—a new role where she continues to be a respected and formidable presence in the racing community.
First to the Finish will be available exclusively on Prime Video in North America. The series is directed by award-winning filmmaker Annetta Marion.
