What's New for the 2018 Mazda3?

The Mazda3 2018 is very similar to other models with only little changes in option packages and features. The Touring 2.5 trim has been discontinued now that the 2.5-liter engine of the 2018 Mazda3 model is standard with the Touring trim along with the overhead console and a rear spoiler. Other additional features include an automatic braking and warning system and a standard led headlights.

Trims & Features

A six-speed automatic transmission is offered as an option with a six-speed manual, standard for all Mazda3s. The sedan's standard sport trim features include double USB ports, a six-speaker stereo, emergency telematics, automatic emergency braking, low speed forward collision warning, a rearview camera, touchscreen, wireless connectivity, a 60/40-split folding seat, keyless ignition, remote keyless entry and a 16-inch steel wheel. The hatchback includes a rear spoiler and the upgrades of alloy wheels. The sedan is designed for the optional preferred equipment package that includes rear-seat cup-holders with armrest, upgraded upholstery, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, heated mirrors, automatic wipers, automatic headlights and alloy wheels. Apart from the touring trim features mentioned above, others include heated front seats, a six-way power driver seat, simulated leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and keyless entry along with 18-inch alloy wheels.

The grand touring model has LED exterior tail lights, fog, and headlights at the top of the range. Other notable features include a satellite radio, a nine-speaker Bose surround-sound system, leather upholstery, an upgraded display in the instrument panel, a digital speedometer and a sunroof. Along with these, the premium equipment package includes a traffic sign reader, forward collision braking and warning for higher speeds, adaptive cruise control, lane departure intervention and warning, a navigation system, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, paddle shifters for the automatic transmission, a heated steering wheel, automatic high beams and adaptive headlights.

Horsepower

A six-speed manual transmission and a 155-horsepower four-cylinder 2.0-liter engine power the Mazda3 2018 model.
