What's new for the 2022 Mazda CX-30?

Mazda has made a few changes to the CX-30 for the 2022 model year:

1. The automaker has revised the front and rear fasciae, giving the crossover SUV a slightly more aggressive look.

2. Mazda has added two new trim levels to the lineup: the Carbon Edition and the Polymetal Gray Special Edition. The Carbon Edition features black exterior trim and unique 19-inch wheels. At the same time, the Polymetal Gray Special Edition gets a gray exterior with red accents.

3. Mazda has made Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert standard on all trims.

2022 Mazda CX-30 Trim and Features

The Mazda CX-30 is offered in five trim levels: Base, Select, Preferred, Premium, and Carbon Edition.

The Base trim comes standard with:

17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights, a 7.0-inch infotainment display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto smartphone integration, Bluetooth connectivity, a six-speaker audio system, etc.

The Select trim adds 18-inch alloy wheels, a sunroof, automatic headlights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, leatherette upholstery, heated front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

It also has an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a six-way power-adjustable passenger seat, and a Mazda Connect infotainment system with an 8.8-inch display.

The Preferred trim comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive LED headlights, LED foglights, a hands-free power liftgate, a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, satellite radio, navigation, and more.

The Premium trim builds on the Preferred trim with full LED headlights, a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, etc.

The Carbon Edition is based on the Premium trim and adds black exterior trim, unique 19-inch wheels, and a rear spoiler.

The Polymetal Gray Special Edition is based on the Preferred trim and gets a gray exterior with red accents.

2022 Mazda CX-30 Horsepower

186-horsepower power the Mazda CX-30, 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available as an option.

The Mazda CX-30 has an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 31 mpg combined (28 city/34 highway) with front-wheel drive and 29 mpg combined (26 city/32 highway).
