Mazda has been lucky enough to be named 2016 Best Car Brand by U.S. News & World Report. The automaker is the first recipient of the all-new accolade, which is now a part of the media company's 2016 Best Vehicle Brands award series.
U.S. News & World Report used the overall scores from their Best Cars rankings to determine which brand would earn the top honor. These scores, which are based on automotive press, safety and reliability data, and reviews, prove that Mazda's model lineup is one of the best in the industry. This latest accolade is one of many the brand has earned from U.S. News & World Report; the 2015 Mazda5 was previously named Best Minivan for the Money and the 2015 Mazda CX-9 was crowned Best Large SUV.
"Mazda is honored to be named 2016 Best Car Brand by U.S. News & World Report," said Jim O'Sullivan, president and CEO, Mazda North American Operations (MNAO). "The award is a testament to our efforts to develop segment-leading vehicles featuring the newest technology, premium materials and enhanced style – and that we're creating vehicles that drivers want to drive."
