Mazda recently announced that they are going to debut three new SUVs as part of the 2023 lineup. All three of these vehicles sound extremely promising, and consumers will be lucky to have such well-rounded automobiles to take into consideration when they’re in the market for something new. The first vehicle set to hit the market will be the CX-50, which is roughly based on the CX-30’s design (a mid-size crossover design). It’s coming out in November. A two-row CX-70 will be released shortly after, along with a three-row CX-90 SUV. The CX-90 is replacing the CX-9 that is currently part of the Mazda lineup. They will both feature Mazda’s newly upgraded inline six-cylinder engine with the option for a plug-in hybrid.

Vehicle Design

While the CX-30 will feature a basic compact design, the CX-70 and CX-90 will be wide-body vehicles. You’ll be able to choose between a turbocharged inline-six engine or a plug-in hybrid powertrain that has an inline-four gas-powered engine. Mazda has provided an all-wheel drive as a standard feature in all three models. All-wheel drive will be available as an add-on.
