2020 Mazda6 Has Abundant Features

The Mazda6 has five total options on trims: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, and Signature. Unlike most vehicles from competing vendors, Mazda, to streamline purchasing options for their consumers, has made optional extras available solely by the model picked by the individual customer.

In terms of standard interior features, Mazda offers a high-quality eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, premium leather trim on the wheel and shifter, a dashboard screen that also features touchscreen capability, a surprising amount of storage with optional rear seat placement and surprisingly high quality, comfortable cabin. Depending on the chosen trim, additional options include a premium 11 speaker Bose sound system, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and prestige edition badging.

Mazda also offers a limited warranty for three years/36,000 miles and a powertrain warranty for five years/60,000 miles.

Mazda6 Performance

2020 Mazda Mazda6The Mazda6 has two engine options currently available. Both are 2.5L inline four-cylinder engines with six-speed automatic transmissions; the standard engine option features 187-hp of power, while the turbocharged engine option features a robust 250-hp performance benchmark. Later this year, an additional 2.2L turbocharged Diesel engine and an all-wheel-drive option will be made available. Regardless, the Mazda6 features an extraordinarily smooth and comfortable drive and ride, with excellent handling.

Mazda6 Safety

2020 Mazda Mazda6The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) awarded the Mazda6 a five-star rating (out of five), and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) named the Mazda6 a Top Safety Pick+ for 2020, making the six a solid pick for both safe and comfortable driving by any measure. Standard safety features include forward-collision warning, automated emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alerts, and blind-spot monitoring. Optional extras include a 360-degree camera system, front and rear parking sensors, lane departure warning, and lane-keeping assistance.
