With RX-8 models sold by Mazda, owners are covered by the RX-8 Rotary Engine Core Limited Warranty Extension. This warranty offers coverage up to 100,000 miles or eight years and guarantees repairs performed on the rotary housing and internal parts. The internal seals and gaskets are also covered.

If the vehicle is not drivable due to a warranted powertrain component failure, towing service is provided for up to 60 months or 60,000 miles.
